Jakob Dixon did not last long at the University of Kentucky and now he is getting trolled by his former Wildcat teammates. It is cold-blood, but it’s all in good fun— probably. Maybe.
Dixon, a three-star recruit in the Class of 2023, stands 6-foot-4, 197 pounds and will play either tight end or wide receiver in college. He hails from Louisville, Ky. and received just one FBS scholarship offer in total.
Kentucky, Eastern Illinois, Dartmouth, Murray State, Tennessee State and Eastern Kentucky were among schools to get in on Dixon’s recruitment.
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg ripped Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) over a widely condemned anti-LGBTQ campaign ad.
Appearing Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union with Dana Bash, Buttigieg slammed the Florida governor over the ad — which bizarrely showed former President Donald Trump’s ties to the LGBTQ community, then showed various images of DeSantis attempting to project strength, which were juxtaposed with random images of shirtless bodybuilders. Buttigieg called out the imagery as odd.

When I was just a kid, back in the 40’s and early 50’s, before TV was a household name and radio was still the king of entertainment, with only music and voices coming from a box, we had to use our imaginations to “see” what was happening on the programs we listened to. One might think that experience limited our development, but it encouraged us to develop and use our imaginations.
According to a recent poll, Democratic freshman Senator John Fetterman is rapidly losing support in his native state of Pennsylvania and is now nearly as reviled as Vice President Joe Biden.
Due to a catastrophic stroke he suffered while campaigning in May 2022, Fetterman has struggled to get through public events and Senate hearings on a consistent basis, fumbling over his words and occasionally appearing disoriented.
“According to a Quinnipiac poll released Wednesday, half of Keystone State voters disapprove of Fetterman’s job handling, while only 39% approve.
The defense attorney for Joseph Zieler is more than likely having second thoughts about accepting the case.
Zieler has been convicted of the murder and rape of 11-year-old Robin Cornell and her babysitter 32-year-old Lisa Story in Cape Coral over two decades ago.
Now facing the death penalty, he tried to take it out on his attorney.
Duck!
Even though the murders occurred nearly two decades ago, the trial only recently concluded.
While Zieler was in the courtroom, he motioned to the bailiffs that he wanted to discuss something with his attorney.

A new report indicates that ABC’s “The View” will not air live on June 30 or the days that follow. Supposedly, this is because all five co-hosts, including Sunny Hostin, Whoopi Goldberg, Ana Navarro, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, and Alyssa Farah Griffin, are currently on hiatus.
These five recently took a Memorial Day weekend vacation, and now, as Decider describes it, they’re leaving for an extended Independence Day vacation.

Tired of getting some form in the mail from Washington about health insurance and wonder what it is?
The “Paperwork Burden Reduction Act” is aimed at stopping unnecessary mailings, which now go to an estimated 154 million people.
The measure, passed easily by the House, would make the health care form available only to those who request it. The Senate will now consider the legislation.
Not only is the bill aimed at reducing the amount of paper that comes into people’s homes and businesses, but it’s the rare chance for a bitterly divided Congress to agree on something.
