He then noted the Dali cargo ship was en route to Sri Lanka before it tragically crashed into the Key bridge.

The first vice chairman of the Georgia Republican Party, Brian Pritchard, was ordered to pay a $5,000 fine, as well as investigative costs, on Thursday for having illegally voted nine times.
Pritchard, who has long pushed former President Donald Trump’s so-called “big lie” that the 2020 presidential election was stolen, had previously been sentenced to probation for felony check forgery charges in 1996. As a result of his probation, Pritchard was not allowed to vote in Georgia.

Special needs are not as special as the hordes of illegal aliens Democrats have imported to displace us:
A space crunch at a Manhattan school building sparked by a massive influx of migrant kids is likely to force a city special needs school out of its home — and into an inadequate 127-year-old site.
At long last, public officials are taking squatters seriously. GOP Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed legislation this week, HB 621, protecting the property rights of homeowners and providing an easy method of ejecting the vagabonds. Even New York’s leftist-controlled Legislature is considering a measure in response to the murder of a New York City woman …

It is ORDERED that plaintiffs are the prevailing parties in this action under 42 U.S.C. § 1988(b). Plaintiffs and their counsel are entitled to recover their reasonable attorney’s fees, costs, and expenses for work related to litigation before the district court.
Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) signed a bill Wednesday meant to combat the growing national scourge of squatting — that is, sneaking into people’s homes and refusing to leave. “On so many issues, what New York does, what California does, we will do the opposite,” said Gov. DeSantis. “Now in Florida, you call up, you fill […]

Since the start of his administration, Joe Biden has pushed for “alternative” energy sources. It seems he’s following the Green New Deal. He has gone to war with fossil fuels and has pushed Americans to transition to expensive, poor-performing EVs.
If Biden wants to be successful in this agenda, alternative sources of energy need to work. But time and again, we find that everything from wind turbines to solar farms have major flaws.
Wind turbines freeze in the winter when residents need a steady source of heat. Offshore turbines have also been shown to hurt sea life.

In the aftermath of the 2020 Election, states scrambled to secure their elections. Democrats maintain that nothing went wrong that year. But state governments seem to disagree, making changes to prevent problems with voting.
These changes ensure that an election like 2020 might never happen again. Certain rules have been put into place to prevent the chaos and uncertainty that followed the election.
But Democrats seem unhappy about the changes made in some states. One mostly blue state enforced a rule that requires basic security measures for ballots.

Apparently, a writer from Axios—Alex Thompson—had a book deal with a major publisher to write about Joe Biden’s presidency. Simon and Schuster, one of the largest book publishers in the world, was going to pay Thompson for a book detailing the Biden administration.
Plenty of books are written about presidents and their time in office. These days, those books are written while the administrations are still in power—perhaps to help a president’s approval. Or hurt it.
Simon and Schuster recently gave Thompson the bad news. They no longer wanted his book about Joe Biden.

This week, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced his running mate. The former Democrat has continued to maintain support, building momentum in his independent bid for the White House. But he shocked some when he chose Silicon Valley executive and liberal Nicole Shanahan as his running mate.
Some had previously claimed Kennedy was going to take votes away from Donald Trump. But with the selection of a big Democrat donor like Shanahan, it’s clear who he’s gunning for.
And just a few hours after he made his big announcement, Democrats ran for the hills.
The sad reality is that, under President Biden, America has become far less safe. His open border has allowed millions of undocumented migrants to enter the country. And his neglect of the crime epidemic in our cities has left many in harm’s way.
Recently, a New York police officer was shot and killed during a routine traffic stop. The city was horrified to learn a career criminal—who had 21 prior arrests—was behind the slaying.
Donald Trump was invited to attend his wake. The former president agreed to be there. On the very same day, Joe Biden will also be in New York.
