Watch: SNL lightly mocks “men competing in women” in sketch they were too chicken to be honest about
SNL is gaining notice for a sketch mocking men competing with women that is too scared to be honest and wasn’t even all that funny.
The sketch is a play on Netflix documentaries and the infamous “Battle of the Sexes” tennis match between Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King. Only it predated that match with Charna Lee Diamond and Ronnie Dunster. The big gag was that even though Charna was plucky and wouldn’t back down, the massive size and strength difference between (someone who was born) male and (someone who was born) female was too much to overcome.
Is SNL finally funny again?
There we were, trekking to the beach, drawn to the promise of new life.
We were to meet up with locals trained in protecting loggerhead turtles, a species officially labeled as “vulnerable.” Mama turtle had buried her 100+ eggs about 60 days previously, using back fins to methodically sculpt a deep hole in which her progeny would be well-protected.
Signs indicated that the eggs had begun to hatch and babies emerge. But not all. Some required rescuing or they would die.
The golf cart brigade that monitors the nests every morning staged an intervention.
Israeli ships are a “legitimate target”, Yemen’s Huthi rebels warned on Monday after their seizure of an Israel-linked cargo vessel opened a new dimension in the Gaza war. Apparently there were other winners but I don’t care
It goes without saying that a poll’s validity can vary wildly from poll to poll depending on a number of factors, such as methodology and margins for error.
Polling can also generally be affected by the institution conducting it.
One would generally assume more favorable outcomes for Democrats when polling is conducted by more left-leaning outlets, like The Washington Post, while one may expect more Republican-favoring outcomes from polls conducted by more centrist outlets, like the Wall Street Journal.

The Hawkeyes travel to Lincoln after locking up the Big Ten West with the chance to end the regular season with 10 wins.
It’s nothing short of shocking considering Iowa has arguably the worst offense in the P5. The Hawkeyes are averaging a pathetic 13.5 points per game against Big Ten opponents. Yet, you are what your record says you are, and Kirk Ferentz’s team is 9-2.
Now, the team will enter another game featuring a hilarious over/under line.

Three of their four children were waiting at the Buffalo Cafe on Main Street, plus many of their grandchildren, a fact the guest of honor happily noted in the night’s only speech. Then she cut her cake and confided that the gathering wasn’t all about her.

This decision is a stark example of how the justice system is being manipulated by those with a clear anti-Trump agenda.
The defense’s arguments for a mistrial were more than valid.
