After NYSRPA v Bruen, they’re actually having to prove their gun control laws are constitutional when they’re challenged, and to do so, they have to prove that similar restrictions were common practice when the constitution was ratified. Add the 14th Amendment (equal protection) into the mix and there are very few gun control laws that we should expect to survive legal scrutiny.

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. (AP) — The last of four men who escaped from a Georgia jail in October was caught Saturday, authorities said.
Joey Fournier, 53, was captured near Stockbridge, about 65 miles (105 kilometers) away from the jail in Bibb County, just before noon, Bibb County Sheriff David Davis said in a news release. Davis said last month that Fournier, Marc Kerry Anderson, Johnifer Dernard Barnwell and Chavis Demaryo Stokes escaped through a damaged window and a cut fence at the county jail on Oct. 16.

Indi Gregory, a baby diagnosed with a mitochondrial disease, has died after a UK judge ruled her life support could be removed against her parents’ wishes.
Doctors at Nottingham University Hospital’s NHS [National Health Service] Foundation Trust claimed Indi needed to be removed from life support so as not to prolong the process of her death.

A military pilot with the Armed Forces of Ukraine has come to Russia, TASS reported on Saturday, citing a person who allegedly organized the pilot’s flight over the frontlines. Elon Musk’s social media parent company, X finds itself battling against a nonprofit organization, the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), who it sued in August.
